ITI 2520 Network Security and Information Assurance
Designed to provide an in-depth introduction to the concepts of data and network security. Other topics include access control, authentication, authorization, data security and integrity, encryption, recovery, computer forensics, and business continuity. Students will learn about and work with firewalls, network security, application security, email security, and tools for securing, monitoring and auditing the IT network and systems environments. Extensive lab time will help to develop skills needed when designing and implementing network and security in the business environment.
