PHY 4400 Quantum Mechanics

An introduction to the foundations and applications of quantum mechanics. Topics include solutions to the time-independent Schrodinger equation, the Dirac formalism, the hydrogen atom, angular momentum and perturbation theory. (Offered alternate years.) Lecture and lab. Fee charged.
