Theology and Biblical Studies Student Learning Outcomes
Graduates of the Master of Arts in Theology and Biblical Studies program should be able to:
- Interpret Christian scripture through appropriate exegetical and contextual models.
- Exegete the influences shaping culture, communities, and congregations.
- Construct Christian responses to societal issues.
- Integrate theological reflection and biblical study with the practice of ministry.
- Model a capacity for incorporating theological reflection and biblical study in practices of personal and spiritual formation.
TBS Academic Program
The Master of Arts in Theology and Biblical Studies (TBS) program can be completed in 18-24 months. This program requires 32 credit hours (8 courses). Courses are offered in an online format. Optional summer intensive courses are offered as part of this program. Participating in summer intensives can allow for a student to complete the program is as little as 18 months.
