Requirements
General Education — 42 or 43 hours

Exceptions: The Laboratory Science and Mathematics components of the General Education curriculum are fulfilled by required major and support courses. Issues in Science is waived in lieu of upper division physics courses.
Major — 40 hours
Choose one of the following — 1 hour
Required Support Courses — 22 hours
It is recommended, though not required, that students take both MAT 3020 Differential Equations and MAT 3090 Linear and Matrix Algebra.
Mathematics Minor — 18 hours
The 18 hours will be fully completed as part of the support course requirements together with MAT 2550/PHY 2550 Mathematical Methods for Physical Science and Engineering.
Additional Minor and/or General Electives — 15-16 hours
