Given for sickness or emergency reasons near end of course and must be approved by the teacher and the program director. The “I” must be removed within five weeks or the grade becomes an “F.” |
Withdrawal |
W |
Granted to students who officially withdraw from a class by the end of day 21. This grade may be assigned by the program director or school dean in the case of extenuating circumstances. This grade is not used in computing students' GPAs but does affect completion date. |

Credit toward graduation, but no quality points. |
