MCM 2050 Recording Techniques

This course covers basic digital audio workstation principles. Students are introduced to an array of contemporary audio software platforms such as: Pro Tools, Cubase/Nuendo, Logic, PreSonus, and Digital Performer. Students will complete a digital audio project from initial setup to final mix-down. Further topics covered: recording live audio, midi sequencing, software synthesizers, and audio editing (or region looping).
