MCM 2070 Editing and Mixing Techniques
This course provides students, comprehensive training in contemporary digital audio editing and mixing techniques using professional DAWs, like Logic Pro and Pro Tools. Students will develop proficiency in industry-standard software while learning the artistic and technical aspects of modern music production. Throughout the semester, students will explore advanced vocal tuning plugins and mixing tools. The course emphasizes both technical expertise and creative decision-making in the production process. Students will learn to critically analyze commercial productions and apply professional techniques to their own projects.
