Skinner School of Business and Technology General Information

The purpose of the Skinner School of Business and Technology (SSBT) is to enable students to develop strong competencies in their chosen career fields, thereby preparing them to make positive contributions to their profession and society. Programs focus on fulfilling the mission of the University by seeking to develop business leaders and managers who understand and appreciate Christ’s call to servanthood as the foundation of effective leadership.

The SSBT includes the Department of Business Administration, the Department of Technology and Design, and several additional programs. The Department of Business Administration offers both Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) and Bachelor of Science in Business degrees.  Concentrations available within the BBA program include: accounting, community development, entrepreneurship and small business management, information technology, international business, management, marketing, and music business. For those seeking a two-year degree, an Associate of Science in Business is also available.

The offerings of the Department of Technology and Design include Bachelor of Science degrees in Computer Science, Graphic Design, Information Systems, and Information Technology, with concentrations in cybersecurity and digital forensics, game design, rich media design, social media and digital marketing, software engineering, specialized computing, UX design, and web design and development.  Also offered are Associate of Science in Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Systems, and Graphic Design. 

Other programs housed in the SSBT are accelerated degree-completion programs for working adults in Computer Information Technology (CIT) and Health Care Administration.  Rounding out the offerings are graduate programs in management (Master of Science in Management and Master of Business Administration) and the Master of Science in Healthcare Leadership and Innovation.
