PSC
In order for a student to receive the bachelor of science degree in psychology, the following requirements must be met:
- A total of 120 semester hours must be earned with a 2.0 grade point average and all general core education requirements met. No student may graduate with less than 25% of the required degree hours (exclusive of testing, prior learning, and military credit) earned at Trevecca.
- Based on a review of the student's transcripts, transfer credit may be awarded for courses in the core program. A minimum of 30 credit hours must be from PSC related course work taken at Trevecca. The core PSC courses, and any courses that count toward the minimum 30-hour credit hour requirement for PSC courses taken at Trevecca, must result in a minimum grade of a C-. No academic minors are currently required for PSC students.
- In addition to the 36 hours earned through the PSC program, 84 additional semester hours must be earned to meet the degree-completion requirements of 120 total semester hours. Of these 120 hours, a minimum of 61 college credit hours must be earned. A maximum of 59 hours can be earned through prior learning methods.
