Counseling Services
The University offers a wide range of counseling/advising services to its students. Any member of the faculty, administration, or staff is willing to be available to a student who desires assistance. The Center for Student Development offers help to students needing to resolve personal and social issues. The resident directors and resident assistants also assist in this area. The university chaplain is available for counseling by appointment. In addition, the director of counseling services and counseling interns are available to meet with students in the Smith House. Counseling services include personal counseling, pre-marital counseling, group therapy, and psychoeducation . Students may set up an appointment by accessing the counseling services inquiry form at: Counseling Center - Home (sharepoint.com). Each enrolled student has access to TimelyCare, a medical and mental health resource for students, 24/7, 365 days a year. To access this resource students can go to timelycare.com/trevecca to register with their name and school email address. Students can then have visits from any web-enabled device – smartphone, laptop, or desktop. TimelyCare is available from anywhere in the United States. Resources include: TalkNow, Scheduled Counseling, Medical, Psychiatry, and Health Coaching.
