Special Services/Additional Information

  1. Special Diets

Students with special dietary needs due to medical reasons should contact the Coordinator of Student Disability Services located in Bud Robinson, first floor. The student is required to provide necessary documentation to seek accommodations. Trays are also available for students on the meal plan who are too ill to attend meals. A note from your Resident Assistant is necessary for this service.

  2. Grab-N-Go

A variety of salads and sandwiches are sold at all dining locations.

  3. ID Policy

You are required to present your student ID card to gain entry to the cafeteria. If you do not bring it to the cafeteria, you will be asked to go back to your residence hall to get it. No one will be admitted to the cafeteria without either presenting a valid student ID or paying the line rate for the particular meal. Please do not pass your student ID to another student to use. If you do, you will be referred to the VP and Dean of Student Development.

  4. Nutrition

Sodexo employs a registered dietitian to work with students who have special dietary concerns. Nutrition and wellness programs are offered throughout the year. We encourage you to take advantage of this program.

  5. Food Committee

Food Services and the VP and Dean of Student Development will work to establish a Food Service Committee to determine the needs of the student population. Any student who can help us provide a better food program is welcome to join the Committee. Remember, the Committee is one of the best avenues for student and food service communication. If you have a comment or complaint, you should speak to your food service manager so that he/she can respond immediately.
